Writing to you from: British Columbia
Weather: Warming up because spring is here but we are all stuck inside because of Covid-19
Crazy times this Covid-19. Not sure what I think about the whole lock down approach. At the end of the day the death rate is likely 0.1% – like the standard flu – since they are not testing the bulk of people. So will it be worth the impact to people’s lives or is this Orwellian times creeping up on us
Sara’s OP ED
If people want to be in your life they make an effort. If they don’t, then you are better off without them.
It’s not that we have a philosophical difference with the fuel industry, it is just that their business model is destroying the planet!
~Bill McKibben~May we never let the pettiness of past lives filter into the grandeur of our own!
We can’t change whether people love us or not; people that love us, love us unconditionally.
What we see is what our mind projects to be true. Don’t like what you see, change your thoughts.
You are beautiful being who and what you are, and no one should ever try to shut you down nor should you let them. Shine with the brightness of what the Universe gave you.
The first to apologize is the bravest; the first to forgive is the wisest; and the first to forget is the happiest.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Sara, there is absolutely nothing wrong with shameless self promotion that you continue to pursue. If you don’t who will?
A lesson in life from an old man
Thanks John. Always good to hear from you. Have I ever told you that sometimes you remind me of my good ol`dad – he would have said the exact last sentence you did!
Welcome back to Canadian soil and thank you for bringing with you a very welcome respite from Vancouver’s rain. Anne is busy assembling her wardrobe for our departure on our mini-odyssey, a cruise around the Greek Islands and points west and for a couple of weeks, no back packs, no self-catering, no pouring one’s own drinks or housekeeping or grocery shopping or catering to the family … just sheer decadence. Thank you for the communications that you have shared with me. They successfully reminded me of my world wide jaunts at younger and healthier periods in my “adventure” as well as stirring a little of my hibernating adventurous side.
You are most welcome. I am glad you enjoyed it. I intend to keep the blog going for entertainment purposes and to continue to investigate the world around me where ever I am. I have a little while in Canada before I embark on a life across “the Pond” for awhile, whatever that while might look like. And I will continue to follow my adventure I call life and see where it takes me. So please feel free to check back from time to time to follow along if it piques your interest. I hope you have a wonderful time on the cruise. I did not get to the Greek Islands this time around but it is certainly on the list once I am back based in the area. Wish happy birthday to Anne – as I believe that is part of the occasion no?
