Busting a Gut and Other Forms of Exercise

Snidely saying so long on the float plane as I leave Silva Bay

O.K.  So I met up with my girlfriend Lauren when I  briefed through the Toronto area.  Actually, Lauren picked me up and we went up to Horseshoe Valley where good friends Brian and Hillary were staying at a time share.  So we hung out with them and giggled.  And giggled some more.  Brian cracks me up.

Brian shows his new hair do

In his subtle and brilliant repartee we laughed the next morning away.

Following a great demonstration of how to use a helix Bissel vacuum cleaner, which ended up spilling its detritis on the floor and needing to be cleaned out in its entirety by Brian.  As he would say, ” the problem with these types of appliances is that they let non-owners use them.”  Well of course the irony being is that it is a time share.
Anyway, perhaps I am failing to fill in all the details and perhaps it was really much more funny being there than being able to relay it appropriately.
God, I love to laugh.  Laughing is such fun and good for the belly.  And amongst other friends of mine, Lauren and Brian definitely make me laugh.  Having such friends nearby is so important for someone such as myself.  I don’t have kids afterall.  So I do seek fulfillment through my friendships and intimate relationships, which currently are non-existent, at least that’s the news on the street.
But it does feed into my overarching question:  What do I do and where do I live?  I have such lovely enjoyable friends at both ends of Canada.  So that does narrow down two areas.  Actually I have equally entertaining friends in Alberta but of course all are unique and individual and lovely.
It is odd saying ciao for now and realizing that I am not just going home but am heading off to other climes and locales.  It is different in that regard.  What a journey this will be.
Oh my, though, I am tired.  I never seem to get much sleep when I come to Toronto.  I am not complaining but since Wednesday, and it is now Sunday, I have not had much more that 5 or 6 hours a night.  Thank goodness I am going away for some R and R.
K. On a bus right now heading to Union Station in Toronto.  So perhaps I shall use this opportunity to sleep.
