O.K. I have never flown with Emirates but what an amazing airline. The plane was a double decker! Not like a boeing 747 with that bulbous upper part, but literally a whole second level. Two rows of windows. And the food was excellent – all included – everything was included. Seats were comfortable, bathrooms were brand new – it must have been a new plane. Baked salmon for dinner and metal cutlery. Complimentary drinks as well. I highly highly recommend them if you ever have the chance to fly with them.
Anyway, I digress….Good way to get to Australia anyway.

Glad you enjoyed New Zealand – sounds like a great place to visit – must put in on my bucket list – what do you mean by couch surfing now that you are in Sydney ?- strange things happening with my typing – it is working backwards – very odd!!!
Assuming a repeat from the previous message????
Is Emirates still doing the simulated sunset and sunrise too? I couldn’t believe the details that went in to that and then the little pinhole stars they had in the ceiling. Only issue was for those of us that can eat neither fish nor curry, not much else was on the menu…could have just been our specific flight.
Hope the travels are going well.
Nope – no simulated sunrise and sunset. That would have been pretty neat though. I just had to enjoy the natural sunset instead!!! True, the menu options were set not with too much flexibility. Lucky for me, I can eat anything.
Travels are awesome. Did you ever get my Fiji picture?
