Okay. Sadly I d not have internet connection so I am doing this on my kindle from Matera. This will not be long since a bit of a pain to do an entry and I cannot add pictures. So stay tune that hopefully by the 16th I can updaye properly. Who knew Italy would be a challenge.
Anyway last night in Alberobello I saw a concert by the New Trolls which is an Italian progressive rock band as old as me. It was neat funky little place that only warranted a one night stay.
Matera is mind-blowing. Hands down the most impressive and fascinating historical city I have ever visited and I am racking up quitea list. Not only that but this Basilicata regionrequires revisiting for all it has to offer.
Italy as always is amazing and I love the language I would love to live here for a bit to learn it. So many thoughts and so much to say but not tonight.
I have amazing pictures t add and many more thoughts. Be patient and come back. In the meantime buononotte tuttu bellas.
Yeah, I’m the first to comment.
Thanks for giving us a short intro to your Italy visit. With anticipation, I look forward to the pictures and to reading more…
By the way, do you already have an itinerary of which cities in Italy you will be visiting?
Ciao bella.
I look forward to being able to deal with the internet instead of my kindle but it is better than nothing. Funny how my blog haas become such an important venue for me to keep people up to date. I feel a responsibility to keep it current daily.
After here I go to Lecce tomorrow and then Rome and then I have a house sit in Abruzzo for 8 day which will be good for a rest. This travelling is exhausting.
Was just speaking to Wanda and she came from San Veto which is about an hours drive north of Venice. She said to say Hi (is it chou?) to you and to enjoy Italy. Love Mum
Hi Mum, It is Ciao. Wish I spoke more Italian though. Maybe Joe was from Abruzzo, or maybe Dad just liked the wine.
