In No Real Vague Direction

I just love the size of Cara's nose in this picture - a cute new friend.

So I am sort of floating around.  It is a little disorienting being in Ontario.  Firstly because I have not been here for over 15 years so sometimes I still expect to be going back to B.C. even though I no longer know where I would go back to.  B.C. is a nice place but my time there has come to an end.  I like being in Ontario as I have a number of friends who I have not seen very much over the past 15 years so it is good to see them.

Music makers at work - Carmen, Brian, not sure, and Mark entertain the invisible masses

This past weekend I was up in Aurora at a friends place visiting with my girlfriend Lauren and a bunch of new people.  Good party.  The one complaint I have about this area of Ontario however is the traffic.  Not only is there a tonne more people and lots of traffic but combine that with all the road construction and it equates to CRAZINESS.

One thing I love about Europe is how pedestrian- centric the cities are.  When I move over there I am going to live in the cities so I don’t need a car.  It will be nice to be without one for awhile.  Unfortunately in Canada you really do need one.

But I digress.  The party on the weekend was a blast, lots of music to boot.  But today I am feeling a little vague trying to decide what to do.  There are temp jobs to take but the pay is not great and I have other options I am waiting on so that might explain my lack of ambition around the temp market.  However I really need to make a decision about timing to go back overseas.

Yup - I'm taking a picture of Hillary taking my picture - how original

As I say, set a goal and everything else will just lead toward it.  Carry on and carry forth.
