When I was visiting my friend Luisa in Bergerac, she introduced me to a number of lovely people. On my last night we went for dinner to Dominique’s. Dominique had a couch surfer there from Belgium, Julie Mottet.

Julie is a beautiful and talented 24 year-old who reminds me of me when I was her age – same hair colour too. Julie entertained us with her singing and guitar playing. She is a chanteuse, partage d’emotions – says her business card.

I encouraged Julie to get herself to festivals as I was so impressed by her voice, her confidence and her presence. This is a woman who has a bright future in music if the right people discover her. Thanks for sharing the videos of Julie singing. You are right…..she does have a beautiful voice and she is definitely a talented singer and songwriter. I do hope that she’ll be discovered soon.
P.S. I love Fargo amusing himself with the sheet (and entertaining us) in the background. He seems to be oblivious to everybody and his surroundings.
