So here I am in Florence. Lovely lively Florence. Visiting my beautiful friend Luisa and meeting many of her friends – fabulous friends. Loving my alliteration today.

My timing has been impeccable as I managed to come here just in time for Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. What a blast. So this post is about that. I will post some more about Florence later. But first this.

Basically we were a large group. Luisa, Anna, Elizabeth, Oslam, Claudia, Marco and Nicola, not to mention all the others that joined our group. As the streets became busier and busier, we trolled the area checking out stores and enjoying their free nibblies and drinks. But we were all well behaved, well except for the fun dancing – showing the younguns how it is done – and Nicola’s almost stripped tease.

This one store did have a girl doing a strip tease and I said to Luisa, well they have to have a man do the same. Well they did – almost. He was good and did strip down to some degree, but not quite as far as the girl … of course.

We wondered and walked and me and my poor feet are hurting today. But the streets were full of energy and fashion and fun. Attitudes were great and as Nicola said to me, “only in Florence”. A great city to see this way.
